How to Choose a Tree Service Organisation

The truth is that most of us don’t know that much about trees, even though we probably have them in our garden and on our property. That means most of us don’t know what to look for in a tree service organisation when we need help with our trees.

The first thing to look for is an organisation that employs an arborist. An arborist is a professional that specialises in the care of trees. Professional arborists should have education in arboriculture and have completed an apprenticeship.

It’s recommended that you go with a business that has an established presence in the community, including a business license. They should also be able to provide references that you can check.

Finally, the organisation should have well-maintained professional equipment, including lorries, chainsaws, pulleys, pruning shears, rigging, and block and tackle mechanisms. The professionals should also have adequate safety equipment, including hard hats, protective gloves, glasses, and armoured vests to protect them from saws.

If the organisation and its employees don’t meet these criteria, don’t hire them. An amateur tree service organisation can do serious damage to your trees and your property.
