Towns and cities all over Australia are celebrating spring with festivals and floral displays. Some of the best include:

• Floriade (Canberra Sept 14 – Oct 13) – celebrating everything green and growing.
• Carnival of Flowers (Toowoomba QLD Sept 20 – 29) – with a focus on home gardening and all things floral.

• Spring Community Festival (Hobart TAS Oct 5 – 6) – held at the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens, with displays and plenty of childrens’ entertainment.
